Rather than building circuits or writing lines of code, Parth Shah is the director of leadership education at Teamshares, where he is building an in-person, live education program for people to become CEOs of small businesses.

Head of Global Operations, Airbnb
As global head of operations for Airbnb, Tara Bunch is responsible for supporting hosts and guests in more than 220 countries and regions, and payments in 63 currencies. She previously spent eight years at Apple as vice president of AppleCare.

Louis Bemberg
M.Eng.’22 IEOR
While keeping up with his high school studies in math and physics, Louis Bemberg played competitive golf, representing the Swiss Golf National Team in youth tournaments across Europe. His love of using applied math and coding to solve real business problems led him to Berkeley, where he is getting a master’s degree in industrial engineering.

Co-founder and CEO, Francisco Partners
DJ Deb is a co-founder and the CEO of Francisco Partners, a technology-focused private equity fund with nearly $45B of assets under management. He serves on numerous boards, including Berkeley Engineering’s Advisory Board and the UCSF Foundation Board of Directors.

Matthew Miraculous Zebadiah Nelson plans to work this summer as a Theatermakers Fellow at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center before joining Disney Live Entertainment as an Imagineer, crafting immersive stories at the intersection of engineering and theater.

Chief Operating Officer, Altos Labs
Ann Lee-Karlon is chief operating officer of Altos Labs, a biotechnology company focused on restoring cell health and reversing disease through cellular programming. Previously, as senior vice president at Genentech, she oversaw more than 35 drug development teams in the pipeline.

Sally Winkler
Ph.D.’20 BioE
Sally Winkler is a biological research scientist at AbbVie, where she is focused on preclinical medical device R&D, including work on the Allergan Aesthetics breast reconstruction and aesthetics portfolio.
