Ernest S. Kuh Distinguished Lecture Series

Once a year, the Ernest S. Kuh Distinguished Lecture Series presents an opportunity to hear from scientists and engineers who are tackling our world’s most pressing problems. The series is made possible by a generous gift from Professor Emeritus Ernest Kuh and his wife, Bettine. Professor Kuh was dean of the College of Engineering from 1973–1980, and he was instrumental in securing the college’s reputation as a leader in engineering education. It’s fitting that his legacy is inspiring successive generations of future engineers with this series of thought-provoking lectures.

Dawn Tilbury (M.S. ’92, Ph.D. ’94 EECS) is the chair of the Robotics Department and associate vice president for research – convergence sciences at the University of Michigan.
